AvGeekHangar is a flight simulation and aviation website, retailer and community.
The website may include editorial articles, flight simulation news, technical information, community features, creator content, add-on and livery content, event information, product information, the AvGeekHangar Store, Hangar Exchange and links or material supplied by third parties.
Different areas or activities may have additional terms. Where they apply, those terms should be read together with these Website Terms of Use.
- Using our website
You may use AvGeekHangar.com for lawful personal purposes.
You must not knowingly use the website:
- in breach of applicable law;
- to introduce viruses, malware or other harmful code;
- to attempt unauthorised access to the website, server, accounts or connected systems;
- to interfere with the website’s normal operation or security;
- to impersonate another person or organisation;
- to submit fraudulent, unlawful, threatening, defamatory or abusive material;
- to infringe another person’s intellectual property or other legal rights; or
- to use automated systems to extract substantial amounts of content in a way that infringes our rights or materially disrupts the service.
Nothing in these terms prevents normal use of search engines, accessibility technologies or legitimate linking to public AvGeekHangar pages.

Unless otherwise stated, the AvGeekHangar name, original website text, graphics, layouts, branding and other original material created by or for AvGeekHangar are owned by, or licensed to, AvGeekHangar Limited.
Third-party trademarks, photographs, articles, logos, product images and other material remain the property of their respective owners where applicable.
You may view the website, print or save reasonable extracts for personal use, and share links to public AvGeekHangar pages.
You may not reproduce, republish, sell, commercially exploit or systematically copy substantial AvGeekHangar content without permission or another lawful basis.

AvGeekHangar may publish material supplied by creators, journalists, community contributors, developers, manufacturers, event partners and other third parties.
Such content may express the contributor’s own views and does not necessarily represent the views of AvGeekHangar.

Some news, feeds, extracts or other information may originate from an external publisher or partner.
Where content is attributed to another publisher, ownership and responsibility for the original material remain subject to that publisher’s rights and terms.
We aim to identify external sources appropriately and do not claim ownership of third-party material merely because it appears or is linked from AvGeekHangar.
- Technical Hangar and technical information
Flight simulation systems can vary substantially according to computer hardware, operating systems, simulator versions, drivers, firmware, peripherals, add-ons and individual configurations.
Technical Hangar articles, tutorials, troubleshooting suggestions, setup information and similar material are provided for general information and community support.
We take reasonable care with material we publish, but we cannot guarantee that a particular instruction, configuration or modification will work with every system.
Before making significant hardware, electrical, firmware or software changes, users should consider relevant manufacturer instructions, warranties, backups and their own technical ability.
Nothing in this section excludes responsibility where it would be unlawful for us to do so.
- Editorial opinions, reviews and recommendations
Articles, reviews and recommendations may contain opinions and personal assessments.
A positive review, mention or recommendation does not guarantee that a product, service, add-on or configuration will be suitable for every user.

- Product information
General editorial content about a product is not necessarily the same as the contractual product description used when that product is sold through the AvGeekHangar Store.
If you are purchasing a product, please rely on the relevant store listing and the information presented during checkout, together with our Terms & Conditions of Sale.
Prices, stock and specifications may change over time.
- Third-party websites and links
AvGeekHangar may link to websites operated by manufacturers, creators, partners, developers, charities, retailers, news organisations, event organisers and other third parties.
Those websites are controlled by their respective operators and may have their own terms and privacy practices.
Providing a link does not mean AvGeekHangar controls the external website or endorses every statement, product or service appearing on it.
We are not responsible for the continued availability of external websites.
- Affiliate links and commercial relationships
Some external links may be affiliate links, meaning AvGeekHangar may receive a commission if a qualifying purchase is made after following the link.
Where required or appropriate, we will identify affiliate, sponsored, gifted or other material commercial relationships clearly.

- Events and third-party organisations
AvGeekHangar may publish information about aviation, flight simulation or community events and organisations.
Unless AvGeekHangar is expressly identified as the organiser or contracting party, the event or service is operated by the named third party.
Event dates, exhibitors, schedules and arrangements can change. Users should check important travel, ticketing or attendance information with the relevant organiser.
- Website availability
We aim to keep AvGeekHangar.com available and functioning but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
We may suspend, restrict, update or change parts of the website for maintenance, security, technical work or development.
We are not responsible for temporary unavailability caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, subject to any responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.
- Accuracy and updates
We take reasonable care to keep website information useful and accurate.
Flight simulation software, product specifications, prices, compatibility, event details and external information can change quickly. Older editorial content may therefore no longer reflect the latest version or circumstances.
Where a decision depends on current technical specifications, compatibility or safety information, you should check the current product page or manufacturer’s information where appropriate.
- Accounts and website features
AvGeekHangar may offer optional customer accounts, but an account is not required for ordinary Store purchases at initial launch because guest checkout is available. If future services such as Hangar Miles require an account, the relevant service terms will explain that requirement.
Additional terms may apply to particular services, including Hangar Miles.
Please contact help@avgeekhangar.com if you believe your AvGeekHangar account has been accessed without permission.
- Community areas
Where AvGeekHangar provides interactive community areas, separate community rules or moderation standards may apply.
Our Discord community has its own Community Rules.
Participation in a community service does not give a user the right to publish unlawful material, harass others or infringe third-party rights.
- User-submitted material
Where the website allows users to submit articles, photographs, comments, listings or other content, you must have the right to provide that material.
Additional submission terms may apply before content is accepted or published.
We may moderate or remove submitted material where reasonably necessary to operate the service, protect users, comply with law or enforce applicable community/submission rules.
- Viruses and security
We take reasonable measures to operate the website securely, but no internet service can guarantee that it will always be free from vulnerabilities or harmful code.
You are responsible for using appropriate security measures on your own devices.

These Website Terms do not reduce the separate statutory rights of customers purchasing goods from AvGeekHangar.

Personal information and website privacy matters are governed by the AvGeekHangar Privacy Notice and associated data-protection information.
Those documents are managed separately from these Website Terms of Use.
- Changes to the website or these terms
We may update AvGeekHangar.com and these Website Terms of Use from time to time.
The latest version will be made available on the website and will show its update date.
Where a separate contract has already been formed, such as a completed store order, changes to these Website Terms do not retrospectively alter the contractual terms governing that transaction.
- Governing law
These Website Terms of Use are governed by the law of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you retain any mandatory legal protections and court rights available to you based on where you live.
Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
