The Hangar

Different voices. Different experiences. People who genuinely care about this community.

AvGeekHangar has always been about more than building another flight simulation website. We want it to be shaped by different voices, different experiences and, most importantly, people who genuinely care about the community around this hobby.

The Hangar crew

Four very different perspectives.

These are some of the people who have already helped shape what we’re building. They each bring something very different to The Hangar – from real-world aviation and technical knowledge to creativity, trusted content and a refreshingly honest perspective on the flight-sim community.

REAL-WORLD AVIATION - PRIVATE PILOT - ALPHATECH NI

Pilot NI

Pilot NI brings together two things that sit right at the heart of AvGeekHangar — flight simulation and real-world aviation.

A private pilot from Northern Ireland, he combines his love of flying with flight simulation and has a way of communicating both that is clear, engaging and accessible. He’s also heavily involved with AlphaTech NI, regularly using their simulators as part of his own training and aviation ambitions.

It’s that crossover between the virtual and real aviation worlds that we particularly value. Pilot NI understands that flight simulation can be a hobby, a community and, for some, part of a much bigger aviation journey.

We’re delighted to have that perspective in The Hangar.

AIRBUS - HARDWARE & UTILITIES - REVIEWS

EasyJetSimPilot

Long before AvGeekHangar existed, we were watching EasyJetSimPilot.

His helpful and engaging content — particularly when it comes to all things Airbus — has made him a trusted voice within the flight-sim community. From hardware and utilities to software and simulator updates, there’s always been a practical usefulness to what he produces.

What we’ve appreciated most over the years, though, is the genuine opinion behind it. Trust isn’t built through one review or video. It comes from consistently being useful, honest and reliable with your community.

Those are values we want AvGeekHangar to share, and we’re incredibly pleased to have EasyJetSimPilot as part of our journey.

The Flight Director

CREATIVE DIRECTION - COMMERCIAL AVIATION - X-PLANE - STORYTELLING

The Flight Director doesn’t really see himself as just another flight-sim content creator — and that’s one of the reasons we think he fits so well in The Hangar.

Combining a professional background in marketing and creative direction with a lifelong fascination with commercial aviation, he brings a distinctly creative and visual approach to the hobby.

His own flight-sim journey stretches back to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 and FSX before, after several years away, a return through X-Plane reignited the obsession.

Today, The Flight Director brings those worlds together: aviation, flight simulation, creativity and storytelling. He’s interested not only in what happens on the screen, but in the events, experiences, communities and people surrounding the hobby.

It’s a different perspective — and exactly the kind we want around AvGeekHangar.

HOME COCKPIT BUILD - COMMUNITY FIRST - HONEST PERSPECTIVE

Bryan Field

There’s something refreshingly real about Bryan Field.

No chasing attention. No need to be the loudest voice in the room. What you see is what you get — genuine, considered and reassuringly down to earth.

We originally discovered Bryan Field through his home cockpit build, but his contribution to AvGeekHangar has gone far beyond content.

From the beginning, he has been one of the voices reminding us what this project is supposed to be about: the community. His thoughts, opinions and support have helped shape some of the important decisions we’ve made and have challenged us to keep AvGeekHangar focused on being useful rather than simply becoming another commercial flight-sim website.

Sometimes the most valuable contribution is a different perspective. Bryan Field has certainly brought that to our Hangar.
